Troubleshooting
Engraver
The laser engraver won't power on.
Reset the stop switch
1.If the emergency stop switch is triggered, it needs to be rotated to pop it out.
2.Ensure the switch is in the "off" position, reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the switch to start the machine.
Remove the lens protector
Please make sure the lens protector at the bottom of the laser module is removed; otherwise, the laser will be blocked.
Unable to achieve the expected marking depth
Reason
1.The marked object is not on the focal plane
2.Lens contamination
3.Incorrect software parameters.
4.Abnormal software output
Solutions:
1.Adjust the focal length.
2.Clean the lens
3.Adjust the software parameters.
4.Restart the software.
Distortion and Deformation of Marked Graphics or Text
Reasons:
1. The software has not been corrected or data has been lost.
2. The power supply to the vibrating mirror is incorrect.
3. Signal interference.
4. There is a problem with the control board.
5. Vibrating mirror malfunction.
Solutions:
1. Adjust parameters.
2. Adjust the voltage of the power supply switch or replace it.
3. Confirm whether the grounding is good and if the signal line has poor contact.
4. Replace the control board.
5. Replace the vibrating mirror.
GH-Smart II: No Response When the Emergency Stop Switch is Turned On
Reason
1. The power supply is out of battery or a phase is missing.
2. The laser switch is pressed.
Solutions:
1. Check the power supply status.
2. Release the laser switch.
When opening the software, a message pops up saying, "Unable to find control card."
Reasons:
1. Control not powered on.
2. Loose USB cable.
3. Driver for the control board not installed properly.
4. USB control card damaged.
Solutions:
1. Check if the key switch is turned on and ensure there is output from the switch power supply.
2. Inspect the USB connection cable.
3. Reinstall the driver for the control board.
4. Replace the control card.
No Laser Output
Reasons:
1. There is an issue with the software settings.
2. Power key is not turned on.
3. The red light on the USB control card is not flashing.
4. Laser power supply or internal laser malfunction.
Solutions:
1. Check software settings.
2. Turn on the power key.
3. Ensure the USB control card is connected properly.
4. Please contact our after-sales support.
Welding Machine
EW-D Touch Screen Communication Alarm
Reason: The wires are not connected properly.
Solution: Check all cables, then power off for 2 minutes before restarting.
EW-D Welding Machine: Laser Does Not Emit Light
Solution: If the laser alarms, you can try the following steps:
1. Restart the machine.
2. Check if the wiring is correct.
3. Ensure the laser is unlocked.
4. If there is a QBH alarm, inspect and rectify the QBH connection.
5. If the QBH alarms intermittently or continuously, it may need to be replaced.
If the laser does not alarm, follow these steps:
1. If the red light indicates normal operation, swing it to see if it is aligned.
2. If it swings normally, check the process parameter settings.
3. Verify that the light is not locked and that the focus is correct.
4. Inspect the welding gun for dirt and ensure the laser can operate normally by itself.
Wire Feeder Not Working
This issue may be due to wiring or installation problems. Please follow the instructions to check the wiring and installation of the wire feeder structure. It is recommended to use a power supply with an independent power switch.
